There are several locations around Tennant Creek and the Barkly were you can stretch your legs and fill your lungs with fresh air.

The more obvious locations include Karlu Karlu / The Devils Marbles, Kunjarra / The Pebbles, and The Tennant Creek Telegraph Station.

Lake Mary Ann is a very popular spot for family picnics.  Why not take the six kilometre Ryko bike path from Tennant Creek.

Further afield, try Connells Lagoon in the heart of the Tablelands, Longreach Waterhole near Elliott, or the rugged hills and waterholes of the Davenport Ranges.
