For a captivating visual experience and magical encounter with nature, the 2km sealed loop through the Devils Marbles is a must. Located 106 kms south along the Stuart Highway thousands of gigantic, rounded granite boulders are scattered over a valley, and these weathered boulders balancing precariously some up to more than six metres in size owe their shape to millions of years of erosion. This Conservation Reserve has a bush camping area, interpretive displays and visitors can wander around the site along a network of informal walking tracks. They are spectacular at any time of day but are particularly striking at sunrise and sunset.
