Aileron Roadhouse is 132km north of Alice Springs and 370km south of Tennant Creek. It is hard to miss with the massive Anmatjere Man poised on the hill above the roadhouse, visible from the highway, and Aileron’s version of the “Hollywood” sign. While you’re there, you’ll see some original Albert Namatjira watercolours on the walls.
